Looks like a staged photo. At that range, you could hit a matchbox with a bolt-action. Unless both sides agreed not to use firearms, this shouldn't happen.

Because the range is definitely way too close to be realistic. But I thought they woud just pose a couple of tanks.

Thats interesting though, like two photos spliced together?

Yes. Photoshop looks like child's play compared to some of the doctoring done back in the days of actual negatives, there was a real artistry to it. It was quite a thing during Stalin's reign - editing whole people out of photographs was not all that rare, either for political reasons or to improve artistic composition, depending on what the subject matter of the photo was.
