Smoke Grenades do in fact block the AI's "vision" of the battle field. The way the system works is that once the grenade goes off, we spawn a LOS breaking cylinder that goes away ~45 seconds after the smoke grenade goes off.

Standard smoke emitters do not share this behavior, however.

that means, if i put some smoke on an exp. destroyed tank, the bots can watch.
but with the smoke grenades, there is a 45 seconds long "block vision"?

is nice to know! thx.

Is there a way to insert a smoke emitter that also constantly blocks LOS like a smoke grenade does?
