Default Redirect Test

Coldsteel is now on one of our servers - New Glory. However for it to work properly, users will need to delete all files in this location:

C:\Users\UserName\Documents\my games\RedOrchestra2Beta\ROGame\Cache

If they exist. Then it should work.

Tried the new redirect test with this map on the beta servers. Redirect worked fine initially without a hitch but once I got in I had some weird anomalies going on with shadowing and color.

Examples below:

Spoiler!

Spoiler!

Spoiler!

Even after exiting, the game the problem now exist outside of the map itself and my RO2 Beta has funky colors regardless now.

Spoiler!

Spoiler!

These are my current settings, more personal preference if anything as I can run everything cranked up without issue as I have done before in both vanilla and beta.

Spoiler!

Graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 6870 and never ever had this issue before even with earlier versions of the map.

He is using the latest build. I think something funny is getting set in the .ini's from preliminary testing. Digging into it as we speak.

Just so everybody is on the same page. Previous issues including redirect look to be taken care of. We are looking into an issue where Coldsteel has corrupt shaders on ATI cards.

Further testing points this at newer AMD drivers now. We are confirming before we head off to AMD to talk.

Yoshi,

Swag has an uncooked version of my map. Maybe you guys can cook it with new build? Just to see if the same problems occur?

If you're talking about a black shadow following you, then it's not only ATI.
I've got a GeForce and had the same issue yesterday.

We've narrowed it down to ultra texture setting causing the problem. We are trying to figure out why now.

That explains why I never had the issue until I upgraded my GFX card earlier in the year.
