Can i change everything?

hi there..

i was looking for a tweak guide and my question is if there are settings and configs that can be considered cheating if changed.
like if i open the roengine.ini file and make changes : false or true, or change some value.
can i do whatever i want with the configs.. ?
or something can be considered cheating or are forbitten to do.
since ive bought the game. can i change everything?

it's your game. you can do what you want with the config settings. i wouldn't go telling people in game that they stick out like sore thumbs and that you can see them in the dark because of your settings though. some people take a very dim view of it.

dont tell the servers admins that u changed everything.. ok..
but i mean what are the limits berfore something is cosidered wrong enough to get your ro2 account banned or get some penalty for that..
who knows?

You can change pretty much anything you want. It's actually a good idea to report any exploits you come across, as that allows us to fix the game so that other people cannot take advantage of it as well.

Keep in mind though, that not all settings are compatible for the game - you might come across something which if you change will cause the game to crash or do weird things. However, if you run into any such issue you can just delete your config and let the game generate a new one for you.

And hopefully Punkbuster will succesfully run cvar scans allowing admins to keep things reasonable and fair for all players.

thanks for the information.. thats nice because we are free to try it all.. and give feedbacks..

so there are no limits of values. just changing until it begin to get error and crash.
