there was some guy 2 days ago who wanted to trade me a copy of killing floor. which I believe was a guest pass. but it wasn't any reliable information that it was a guest pass or not.

could anyone confirm that steam guest passes have no additional information, so it can be recognized from the original game?

If you read the description in either the trade window or their inventory, it should mention Guest Pass in the game description.

Used to be clearly stated if something was a guest pass. But with the new system couldn't say for sure. If I find out I'll post here.
