The new MLAA 2.0 is more sharp and 80%(!) better performance. Is it enabled when I choose MLAA from RO2 settings? Or does it still use old MLAA?

Ummm, you have to enable it from the ATI Control Center? I'm not quite sure what you mean

But the game has an MLAA support? It's always much better to use game's implementation rather than forcing it.

I suspect the Driver based implementation will be more effective, but this may also blur the text, making it more difficult to read.
The ingame implementation must be based on the old algorithm and is unrelated to the driver - since nvidia users can also enable it. -A4 |

MLAA is done in post processing, it should work when you enable it in the control center. Just disable any other AA you have enabled in RO 2 or else you might get double the amount of post process AA.

yeah it works. but would be good to have a fine tuned game setting that doesnt blur texts etc.

Did noticed to new support of MLAA in the change log for 12.4 but haven't tried it yet. I've been using in-game AA solutions favorably over CCC for awhile now, hopefully this bodes well when I try it out.

I. installed the 12.4s and I had real bad lag. Rolled back to 12.3s and lag disappeared.
