Here are the steps to unban a player:

1. Go to your system/KillingFloor.ini
2. Locate [Engine.AccessControl]
3. Remove the requisite ban from the BannedIDs=<number> <name> area.
4. Restart server and apologise profusely to the victim.

I think the bans also appear in the web admin which if you have enabled appears in:
http://your.server.ip.address:8075

then it's in "Defaults\access policies"

You can edit there.

[Engine.AccessControl]
AdminPassword=
GamePassword=
bBanByID=True
LoginDelaySeconds=0.000000
BannedIDs=00000000000 bonehead <---erase that

Stop server erase the line with the Banned ID save restart.
Also can be done in Web Admin Access Policies
Same as arramus posted
Nothing like banning your Family by mistake

Session bans only last for the remainder of the current map. Once the map changes the ban is lifted.

^This. And, as far s I know, there is no way to remove a sessionban without restarting the map.

However, you can kick someone without session-banning them, using the webadmin. If you log in an kick ingame, it always adds a session-ban the player.
