In UnrealEd I am following a tutorial to create freehand polygons:
Select texture / Select freehand polygon drawing icon / Select Ctrl + right-click to place minimum of 3 vertices in top viewport / Release Ctrl + right-click in viewport space to 'create brush' from dialogue Enter depth value to extrude created shape to that depth Select 'Add' to add the brush to world I follow this to the letter and all I get is a little red cross after entering the depth value, which disappears when I select the 'Add' icon. I am using grid size at 16 and only use depth values to multiples of 16 - all vertices snap to grid nicely. What am I missing? |

Id recommend using the 2d editor instead of the free polygon thing. It is much easier to use and more effective.

Yep, 2D editor is much better - thanks
Anyone know why the freehand is not working? Could only find one mention on the web and that was dated 2004. |
