Only the RO forums could have a thread descend into bickering about this kind of thing.

Whilst it has been entertaining watching this argument unfold, I am starting to think the time is nigh for some deft moderation of further argument on that one subject.

To preface my assessment:
My dad was born and raised in San Benito, TX. I've lived in El Paso, Houston, Dallas, Ferris and Waxahachie. In February I'll go see my mother in Houston, my Aunt in Corpus Christi, my cousin in San Angelo and on the way back, my daughter in Waco. (If someone tells me that all but Corpus are above Interstate 10 I'll kill myself....)

Personally, I was impressed by the accent. And keep in mind, this was the 1940's and not 200x. Besides, isn't Tex-Mex considered a food variation?

I think that, out of respect to Floyd, I will give a second warning here..but there will be no 3rd warning. I will just start deleting posts.

This Tomayto/Tomahto stuff has gone on long enough.

I have been warned that they might be too much for a sensitive soul such as myself

I find that visiting the official forums of most "big" games is about as enjoyable as putting your face in a food blender I try to avoid doing either of those things whenever possible.

I wanted to sign up for the beta, but the link you provided gives me a 404 no component found error. Is the link broken or you guys closed sign ups, or maybe it is my connection.

I have shown the teaser to a friend of mine. Her response was: "Quake 3 engine? Really?"

I can kinda see where she is coming from. Nevertheless I hope you guys can rip a new one to mainstream publishers and show the power of the indie scene. /hipsterglasses

People know nothing about graphics nowadays. They see Cry2 and Bf3 with it's birght horid colors and the power bloom combined with the general art style and they think it's the best.

.___. Why do graphics even matter?!
