Everytime i try to start the game again it has to be reinstalled !! Help

EVERYTIME I TRY TO START THE GAME AGAIN IT HAS TO BE REINSTALLED !! HELP

THATS RIGHT- I INSTALL THE GAME & PLAY IT = ALL IS GOOD.
WHEN I TURN THE GAME OFF & TRY TO PLAY AGAIN i HAVE TO REINSTALL RED ORCH. 2.

IVE INSTALLED IT TWICE ALREADY- I JUST TRIED TO START IT UP NOW & IT WONT START UP ! IT ONLY GIVES ME THE OPTION TO REINSTALL THE GAME RO2.

IF I TRY STARTING UP FROM MY DESKTOP OR ON STEAM ITSELF- SAME RESULT.
NO OPTION TO "PLAY" JUST "INSTALL" RO2


I TURNED OFF & UNINSTALLED MY ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM\STO SEE IF THAT TWAS AFFECTING IT.

ANYWAYS- THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO TAKES THE TIME TO HELP ME FIND THE ANSWER. TAKE CARE

Have you already verivied RO2 in steam?

Remove my documents, my games - RO2


There is no need to reinstall.

Back to your problem. Can you make a screenshot of your steam library (with RO2 highlighted).

And if you get some installer popup, then please also a screen shot of that one.

thanx - i went my documents folder ro2 deleted it . now it didnt have to download - it started right up- but all of my saved settings are gone along w\ my campaign progress.

& it is my first post- didnt think big letters were such a big deal -
