Default Is this weekend the time for another go?

Hi all, I'm sorry if this has been asked 1,000 times but as an old RO player that was bitterly dissapointed with RO2 (won't go into reasons as I'm sure it's been done to death), do you think that the new update will be enough to bring me (and all the rest) back?

I suppose in short I'm asking if the new playmodes and adjustments really do enough to make this a real sequel to Ost?

Thanks in advance. See you on the icey steppe.

Just get back in here !!!!

And yes, the "classic mode" should make the nostalgic RO players quite happy.

I'd say give it a try since there's nothing to lose by trying it, i plan to aswell.

But honestly, whilst the game has improved a lot with the Classic mode, i'm not optimistic, there are still a lot of things left that i know are going to annoy the everloving hell out of me..

Do you know if they've made any changes to the way objectives work in some maps? If I remember correctly alot of maps had recappable points which I always hated as I prefer a more classic one side attacking, one side defending type game.

Last I checked, territory mode works exactly as it did in OST since release.

Danzig objectives behave identically to Apartments for example.

The recap of objectives are map specific for both OST and HOS.

I'll probably give it another go. If they botch it again, I'll just wait for TakeDown or Ground Branch instead. I'm not really a big fan of having 3 types of gameplay modes, 2 I can tolerate, but not 3.

Has there been any mention of the two new tanks?

A ROost veteran will also play RO2. The lasts months of ROost were
there 2 servers with some players. I had to stop and play RO2.

So, why do people look back to ROost???? ROost is the past and RO2 is the future. The models and textures etc. aren`t so good as RO2.

The big difference is that RO2 is situated on Stalingrad. And as you could see are the maps and buildings made from photo`s etc as it was in WW2. That really fantastic done.

I played RO2 dayly and i keep it doing.

Give it another go. I think you'll get your money's worth this time, even if you don't feel you did before.

I've found that classic mode succesfully made me play the game regularly again. I'm not 100% sure why I started playing less and less. But it's probably the lockdown that annoyed the hell out of me.

You must be one of these guys who enjoy hiding in the sniper buildings on Fallen Fighters or Apartments, who never step foot inside a cap zone, and waste everybody else's time trying to get that one last kill.

I'm teasing you.
