Two weird bugs..

Hi, I recently started getting some weird bugs and would like to know if there's a fix.

1. This one is the weirdest, whenever I get hit and it damages my HP (only my HP, if it hits my armor only it doesn't) it shows the characters gloves/hand/ model things

2. For some reason I cant turn my gamma, brightness, or contrast up. The bars are completely grayed out, and it gets annoying when I'm playing dark maps.

I don't know if I'm the only person this has happend too, but I tried searching and nothing came up.
