server with password issue

so. KF on steam sale. AWESOME!

me and my friends got it and now i want to set up a dedicated server.

all good and well so play away but randoms keep joining and when i put a password on the server another problem apears. pp cant join. cant verify steam ID.123456 removed the password and it started working again

read some about thes problem but i could not find a solution that did not require to remove password. any sugestions?
