Default historic references?

Hi
Ok, so I'm thinking of making a map(s) and since this is a historic game and likes to be right historically, as much as you can in a game, my maps probably need to be too. But I do not know anything really detailed about the east front and really not sure where to look. I know what types of maps I like to make, but do not know of any that really happoned to base it off. I'm sure im not the only one either. So I was just thinking we can post books or (GOOD) online references for people to use. really can be for anything because you never know what maps people are interested in making.

thanks
davey89

P.S. sorry if i missed a post all ready about this... i looked but did not fined it

The book "Stalngrad" by Antony Beevor has alot fo good information on units and tactics before, during and after the battle of stalingrad.

"Masters of Death" by Richard Rhodes is a good acount of the acts the nazi SS did during the war. Amazing how brutal and uncivilized humans can be.
