Default Increase the firing volume level please

It was perfect in RO1. As in... "loud as hell". In the R02 Beta everything sounds wonderful... footsteps, ambience, soliders yelling, explosions and other weapons firing around you ..... but, when I fire my own weapon the volume is too low. So I have to turn my speaker volume way up and then everything else is too loud. The ingame voices shouldn't be louder than my own gun.

Are the receiving end of the gun-fire loud to you though?
Real life shooting if you are in an open area and fire a rifle pointed away from you (ha!) it is less loud than someone firing next/behind you. The sound is traveling away, so you hear a smaller volume or loudness of the shot. Rounds fired at less than the speed of sound are even quieter.

If you fired that same rifle in a box with a window, shooting out he window, the sound would bounce back at you from the solid surfaces in front of you and the sound should be louder.

You or anyone experience this? I have not finished d/l the game yet.

lol... All I know is that in RO1 the gun volume level is loud compared to everything else going on around you (as it should be). It makes the game more immersive. Just like if I walk into my backyard right now and fire a couple rounds off with my M1A I can gaurantee you it's gonna be loud as hell..lol. In RO2 it sounds more like you are firing an airsoft rifle. I'm just hoping it will be adjusted in the full version.

I'll get shot from an MG about 30-40 meters away and I'll barely hear it. I can't tell if it's because the audio options are locked to 32 channels with no 5.1 or 7.1 options or if the levels really are that low, but yeah, weapon and explosion volume needs to be turned up.

Yeah, the sounds are just great, but it's all down to volume at the mo.

I actually noticed the same thing, that it seems the guns are not loud enough, and I had a hard time also determining distance as I might in RO. Could use some tweaking.

The sounds should be a little louder.
When you get shoot from an mg from like 50m away, you can't hear anything.

I think even in a warzone with lots of backround noise goin on you would still be able to hear the mg firing.
