Hello all, I'm a beginner in the modeling domain and I want to have your opinion on my 2 projects:
A kolossal wagen (1917) : ![]() 46718 tris Su-100 : ![]() 47435 tris I've too many tris and my models are not finished, do you know what can I do?! When I see some models here which have only 8000 tris, I don't know what's wrong ![]() And yea I want a day join a mod for RO2, I was a coder on battlefield 1942 for 5 years, and when EA said there will be no mod on BF3, I learned modeling and I hope to be good one day. |

I removed all useless faces and 12 little cylinder which can be replaced by normal map.
now I've got 25254 tris instead of 46718 ![]()

Just start over. It's really time consuming trying to optimize high poly models so it will take less time. You still need a high poly model for the normal map but learn the proper workflow for good results.
