Default Need opinion

Hello all, I'm a beginner in the modeling domain and I want to have your opinion on my 2 projects:

A kolossal wagen (1917) :

46718 tris

Su-100 :

47435 tris

I've too many tris and my models are not finished, do you know what can I do?! When I see some models here which have only 8000 tris, I don't know what's wrong
And yea I want a day join a mod for RO2, I was a coder on battlefield 1942 for 5 years, and when EA said there will be no mod on BF3, I learned modeling and I hope to be good one day.

I removed all useless faces and 12 little cylinder which can be replaced by normal map.
now I've got 25254 tris instead of 46718

Just start over. It's really time consuming trying to optimize high poly models so it will take less time. You still need a high poly model for the normal map but learn the proper workflow for good results.
