this isnt about the transition animation in tanks or the getting out of half tracks. what im about to say may be inconcivible to some people but I sugguest that they add pure walkng into and manually jumping on to the tops of tanks and opening the doors in the halftracks so you can walk in & walk out. to my knowledge only a handfull of game do this

I don't remember being able to do so in Black Hawk Down, even though I liked the game alot. Probably because I played it ages ago. Either way I think it would be nice to be able to hitch a ride on a tank, esp. as the Russians

id rather them do an animation of your character hopping out of the vechile in a half track people din't just walk thru the middle unless they needed to move to another seat. i though they jumped out sides most of the time or hopped out the back.
this however might not be the case at all.

I play Allied intent extended, you cannot walk in vehicles. You can get in vehicles, you can have weapons out while riding in them (ie sitting in the door of chopper, sitting on back of humvee) but you most SOITANTLY (intentionally misspelled) cannot walk around in a vehicle.
And can you walk IN a tank in Darkest Hour? Nein. You can't. And you can't walk in a Higgins without you kinda skipping and jumping/lagging the vehicle rather than a realistic sort of drag. Your examples aren't the greatest but the idea itself is pretty nice in anything that has the space, besides at halftrack.

As nice as it would be, I can imagine getting really irritated at someone door blocking, or being AFK while in the way.
