Congrats on the "final" release of your map KF-LostCity, Krull0r!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we found one or 2 more spots last night I'm on through my phone but once I get to a computer I'll post the screen shots for you.

Sorry for the double post, but here are the screen shots of the latest things we found last night. Also, we didn't seem to get any spawns off the roof, did you not add the roof spawn point? Good job widening the stairs on that building, it seemed to make them come up easier, and good job on moving the car from the fence at spawn point, stuff doesn't get stuck there anymore. I did find that if Patriarch spawns behind the wall behind the train tracks, that he gets stuck back in that area and won't come out unless someone goes and baits him out.
2011-05-01_00011.jpg This one if you sit in this spot they can't reach you much, I had one gorefast hit me in like 5 minutes of sitting there. This spot was in the buildings under the train tracks, the one that has a front and back door. For this spot, you may want to consider adding a crawler or stalker spawn in that room because it was fairly easy to camp. 2011-05-01_00013.jpg This one Lammah could sit there and nothing other than sirens or husks would be able to reach him. This was near that same building in the underground areas. Also, if you get on the desk next to that shelving unit, they can still attack you. 2011-05-01_00015.jpg This one, if you jump over the car nothing can reach you much, AND players get stuck and have to suicide to be able to get out. This is near the back of that first building I mentioned, if you go out the back door, around the corner to the left and then right you'll see it. 2011-05-01_00014.jpg This one the door needs to be wider so stuff doesn't get stuck outside of it. I played this map last night with a full group and its was honestly the most fun I've had on a map in a long time. The many areas to cram your team into and defend from are challenging (making this map good!) because of the close quarters and required teamwork.
Communication was important in this map, having someone to watch your back down the hall, or down the stairs really gave the feeling of teamwork. I was the guy guarding the flank of the main group and I had a great time with it! I hope this map gets recognized for how excellent it is!!!

this little stuff, I hate it ![]() Is it possible to upload a second final version? lol ![]() Maybe you guys asking why I wanted to get the final so early... I thought this monday was the deadline for the whitelist ![]() I misunderstood oliviers pm he told me that he will stop testing maps for the whitelist this monday so I thought it was the deadline for this... ![]() I think I will fix this new glitches and optimize the performance of this map a bit Greetz Krull0r |

The map is visually stunning, it's a love from the first sight.
I really hope it will make it to the retail. But then, I fear that it'll share the fate of departed - a great map on which players will find some 2x2 meters spot and just camp there, not paying any attention to the great layout and beautiful details.

Krull0r messaged me asking me if in the next few weeks my clan would put it up on our servers and help him bug/exploit test, so once that's done I should know lol.

Like LightHouse this map crashes the game completly for clients on our servers. Does this have to do with running a modded server or maybe 25 player ones?
Strange bug... Its also present on Vanilla maps like KF-Crash. Any ideas? |

Yes I'm still working very hard on this map maybe +4 hours every dayI try to finish the next version as soon as possible. I aim to release it at the beginning of the next week. I have many trouble with the PathNodes. The Zeds are blocking each other on closed doors. But I think I have eliminate all exploits. hopefully =) I'll post the new version on this thread with a new downloadlink for testing. greetz Krull0r |
