Default Separate Controls for Tank and Infantry

It would be nice if we could have movement and combat controls for tank and infantry separate. For instance, you could remap "Fire" to the spacebar for tanks, and keep it as mouse 1 for infantry.

This is one thing I've always liked about the battlefield series.

But how would you make your tank jump?

Good idea, and it would be nice to have it as separate customizable options (ala ARMA). But probably best to keep things consistent as default so the learning curve isn't too steep to new folks.

Most every game with vehicles (BF2, BC2, ARMA, etc) have seperate control panels for vehicle movments, infantry movement, and helicopter movement.

I don't see why not

Certainly, the default layout should be very similar to the infantry controls, that'll make life easier for us all (newbies can easier jump in and figure it out, oldtimers wont have to explain this stuff ingame to newbies as often, which does get old after a while, it's a win/win), it makes sense to do it that way.

Leave the default layout simple and easy to figure out, but let us redefine it sepperately of the infantry controls, that's the smart way to do things
