Default Forgotten Hope 2

4 months after version 2.26, Patch 2.3 is going to be released.

In it you will find:

3 new maps

Ramelle Neuville

St Lo Breakthrough

Battle of Brest

As well as lots of new vehicles and weapons:

You can find download links for the pre-load torrent as well as more pictures and information on the main site at
http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/main.php

The password for the pre-load file will be released on the same site on Friday.

Forgotten Hope 2 is a modification of Battlefield 2. Its focus is a historically accurate depiction of WW2, with lots of different weapons, tanks and armies depicted.
The first version was released in December 2007 and concentrated on the Mediterranean theatre. Since then the mod has expanded into Normandy, with other fronts already in production.
Included are Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand as playable nations.
As of 2.3 there are 31 maps playable, many of them 1:1 copies of actual battlefields.

See you on the battlefield!

I think FH2 got boring after the Normandy update. Maps are too much similar and they rarely play the desert maps now. What I really want is a Eastern Front update for FH2, but the servers are dead anyway...

The Playerbase is stable in Europe with two full servers in the evenings. However, in America the situation is worse, although many of these players tend to prefer playing in one of the two tournaments running FH2.

I think it would be pretty awesome if a mod had the content of Forgotten Hope 2 and the gameplay of Project Reality. *Drools*

Those weapons could do with some weathering in my book.

Yeah FH is pretty decent, but everything looks so clean.

And I do miss the uniqueness of the North African maps, hopefully they can get started on the Eastern Front soon, too.
