Good luck beating him, you'll need it. ChangeLog and ReadMe are available right now on this post's attachments. One important requested feature I want to note here is that players spawning without a perk with start with the Perk Poker in their hands. I'm looking into further options to help new players oriented and kicking arse in-game. The ServerResources are .uz2's for people running servers- you don't need them if you just want to play WTFMut. PATCH 1.3 TO 1.4 If you have 1.3 already, this is all you need.
PATCH If you already have WTFMut v1.2, this is all you need.
If you don't have WTFMut v1.2 installed, you need the FULL version of 1.3 to play.
If you don't have 2K4Menus.utx in your Textures folder, you'll need it.
Since a few newcomers were asking... WTFMut consists of two mutators: WTFZombies & WTFMut. WTFZombies randomly replaces zeds with different variations throughout the game. WTFMut implements custom perks, adds new functionality to most of the base equipment, and adds a few brand new items as well. Edit: Peas and Myself are creating a Wiki that details the many, many changes WTFMut includes. Videos, pictures, server setups, and new player orientation info will all be included.

LOL I love this. The mini crawlers are cute. I stuck in the Gored Fast mut with this pack and those suckers were soooooooooooooooo fast! Only think I have a problem with is I think I got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money on hard mode at the end of the round for the kills.

This is Totally sweeet! I uploaded it to my clanserver. On normal with FF50%, tried hard but i we didnt survive wave 2 :P so im changing to normal. Will if it works good change back to hard.
The metal-clots are nasty I can tell you.

OMG!! Sir , this is absolute win and you deserve a medal
.And if you don't mind ,here is what i think about your mod: For me, its probably the best mutator ever made , i just can't describe how awesome and fun it is. We did get those meatpounders and even that i have played firebug at that time , when i saw them i did run my butt out of there , lol scary looking thing (thank god we had SS) , i've made few screenshots ,but don't want to spoil it for others ![]() The "special" zeds are absolute win , really hard to kill and those "damn frogs" , how all the guys that played with me called them are really pain in butt ( in the good way) The epic weapons are also very fun to use- lethal injection- always wanted and thought there should be something like that for the medic self destructor - awesome , now i don't need 20 pipebombs on my head ![]() the M79- love the destruction , too much smoke ,but wth, who cares when you have this epic weapon as a firebug i wasn't able to pull out that "flare gun' even it was saying at trader i have it, just wasn't able to pull it out ![]() didn't get the chance to see the AA12 ,but going for it later today , just uploading the files on the other server at this moment. Just wish we could choose different perks between waves other than killing yourself ![]() for that SA80 i believe it was YoYoBatty -http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=43187&highlight=SA80 And i'm not sure ,but going to say we had a bug , i think it was most probably because custom map? since it did happened only one time from 12 games we played - at wave 4 the counter was saying 7 zeds left , but they never spawned , so idk And if you can , pretty please , submit this mutator to whitelist (without the perk selector of course), i really don't see how this could be abused since its way harder to win a map than on regular game play.Also if if you will not get the server up, i did upload it on two servers into vote menu, one is set to "long-normal" and the other is "long- hard or long-suicidal" whatever ppl vote for ,they are both located in US-east coast , so in case your server will be down ,i can pm the IP's if ppl will want to try this awesome mutator |

Tooling around with the melee weapon death from above! bonus for the Fire Axe and the Chainsaw. My intention is to give players some dramatic and obvious feedback so you know you're hitting the sweet spot for the bonus. Here's a clip for the FIRE Axe.
YouTube - firebug with fireaxe: death from above! Yea...medic is one of my favorite perks in this mut. Has a real nice feel with the movespeed bonus and the huge clips > ![]() For the people asking about a whitelist submission...maybe soon. There are yet bugs to crush- and there's so much more I want to add. Also, if it does somehow make it onto the whitelist, I'll have to revamp how perks are assigned, as this mut uses custom veterancy classes.

I was actually a little perplexed by the sleeves. It looks a bit off because there's an arms slot AND a gloves slot, and I haven't dived in deep enough to deal with that yet.
It looks totally screwed if I mark the gloves as the sleeves, so I did the best I could in light of having other things I wanted to be working on at the time. Something else I have in the cooker is getting the Legend of Welda to shoot a short-range beam if you have full hearts- er, hitpoints ...lol. I know someone out there will get this.

Perk Poker
-when you spawn without a perk, you will start with the perk poker out SA80 -shots should appear to come from a bit more sane location (roughly centered) Pipe Bombs & Proximity Mines -Pipe Bombs are back to normal price -Banshees and Sirens now proactively scan for both of these, and will scream to destroy them from a distance -Any damage originating from the owning player will detonate these devices, and that includes one owned by the same player blowing up nearby- so spread 'em out some. Commando Stun Grenades -majorly slow zeds for 5 seconds, and prevents them from doing any melee attacks for 2 seconds. Incinerator -Does the Kamikaze rush sooner and blows up quicker -runs faster during Kamikaze rush Flamethrower -Firebug ammo bonus reduced to 20% per level; was 25% -Added alternate fire --Sprays out a cone of fire over a short range --hits everything in the cone --deals increased damage per second but consumes ammo much faster and slows you down considerably while firing AFS12 -demo fires explosive rounds with this weapon. -deals high damage in a small area, with damage dropping off significantly over distance -limited ammo, but allows demo to function in smaller maps The BanHammer- for demo -primary fire swings it (explodes if you have a bomb on the end) -alt fire brings up a fresh banhammer FIRE Axe -does roughly 80% of the base Katana damage. Pretty powerful, albiet with the much slower attack speed of the Axe -death from above as Firebug with the axe basically deals 100% normal damage + 100% fire damage: pretty damn powerful M79CF -Clusterbombs are demo only -Shoots normal M79 rounds for any other perk except Firebug, which shoots Incindiary charges -Firebug gets a purchase discount of 35% at rank 6 UM32 -the special High-Damage rounds are demo-only -shoots normal (lower damage) M32 rounds for any other perk -demo only: altfire deploys rounds in proximity-mine mode --proximity-mines last 10 minutes before their battery runs dry (aka they vanish) --proximity-mine detection radius is very small, place them well. Boomstick/Shotgun -slugs ARE ACTUALLY way more accurate now- for real this time -using ironsights with slugs is far more accurate than firing from the hip; ironsights on shotguns actually have a purpose now -slugs are allowed only for the Support Specialist, but Commando can switch to slugs with the Shotgun only -The item name will be updated with (Slugs) or (Shot) to reflect what type of shells you have loaded Sawed-Off Shotgun -A lighter, less expensive Boomstick. -Massive Spread, can't load slugs in this weapon. knife -medic gets +10% damage bonus with the knife per rank, for +60% damage with the knife at rank 6 explosion fx -um32 & m79cf smoke fades away faster lethal injection -base damage greatly reduced -medic gets +100% damage with lethal injection at rank 6 -medics only: slow poison! zeds' base speed will be reduced by 50%. This effect does not stack. --Note: Zeds that can charge can still do so and increase their speed, but it's all working off their greatly reduced base speed

Love all of the new changes except for this one. More powerful explosions should mean longer smoke.

Hey Bees, any chance you could create a small separate mutator that adds the flaregun for all players with zero carrying weight and it cant be sold?
Because that would be perfect for my Lights Out maps. Or they can always use the WTF mutator but just in case someone wants to play a "normal" game with some extra light sources. I tried to lure Batty into making some sort of flashlight/glowstick mutator a while back but he wasnt that thrilled. |
