![]() New items: -Damage dealt: this was already mentioned in other posts. It's not only the kill count that matters. Firebugs would finally get some credit. Can be updated every 10 seconds or only at the end of each wave, if frequent update would cause bandwidth problems. -Boss Dmg: Damage to Patriarch. This can appear at the final score tab only. Nice to know who nailed the bastard. -Time: player's time on this server. 50 kills in one minute means more than 100 kills in five. -National flag: just for social reasons. Doesn't have to be ip-tracked, it could be just set in player's profile. Did I miss something?

Like it. Like to suggest Damage Healed and Damage Taken, healing being obvious why but damage taken can show if someone is being really useless or in some cases like a good berserker and helping soak up damage instead of letting other people get nailed.

The only thing I could add that wasn't suggested would be accuracy. I know in the larger scope of things it doesn't matter but it would be neat to see.

I'd like to see accuracy. Because I'm tired of some one playing the same class, acting like they are so skilled when they empty out their weapons in the first half of the wave and saying I suck cause I have ammo at the end of the wave

The guy talking about not needing to see is partially right but the quick scoreboard is useful for medics. I know people that like to hang out in the general area of the group so I memorize where there at then just tab and see that someones hurt and go heal them. I could survive without but it would just be a burden on medics. I would like this scoreboard during the trader time though like I don't know how hard it would be to code but if it was easier you could due like 5 seconds after the trader round starts you can see and 5 seconds before it ends it goes away so as to not lag the game as stuff is spawning and have that go away?

Well, accuracy is kinda problematic. See, for example noob sharpshooters with M14 are unloading half of mag in gorefast's chest from 2 meters to bring it down - 100% shots in target, crappy performance. A decent one aims in heads and misses 25% of the time.
Also, demolitions and firebugs can have 100% acc (cause they always catch something in their weapon's damage radius) and still suck at taking down specimen. So, efficiency stat (number of attacks : number of kills maybe) would be more helpful than raw accuracy. But then, berserkers swinging their katanas between waves out of boredom, would have it at crappy 10% :P |
