Default Help!!!!

ok... this should be in a bug report forum, but nothing wrong posting them here. Ok, well first my system specs:

Pentium M centrino 1.7 2mb l2 cache
128mb quadro fx 700
1.5 gb <=== i do a lot of CAD design need this

K... graphic is not my problem, it amaze me that the game ran smooth on my laptop even at the highest setting (HDR off) at around 30-50fps on 1024x768, and on 1900x1200 still runs ;p at 19fps - 23.

Ok, here's the problem, i am using an internet connection off from my University, T3 connection. the issue is something weird, if i look for server in the server browser, the ping shows up low, like some server that i usually join is around 70ms... but when i join the ping jumps to like around 300 or so varies from 250 to 400. Yes i heard the issue that it will go down, but after 2 hours of playing my ping stays constant at that lvl. however, somethings a bit ackward sometimes for about half a sec the ping showed up to 100 and sometimes even lower. Another acward part, it doesnt even feel like i am playing at 400ms... I did try turning off my firewall, but that wont change

ANY IDEA??

post thanks

Love the game

Well, actually, there is something wrong with posting it in this forum. The Support forum is for help and the bug report forum is for reporting bugs, they exist for good reasons. This is neither of those.

see here's the thing with school networks.
sometimes they show that there is worse connectivity than there is.
I don't understand why exactly but I know that I had some issues with that too.
If it is playable I wouldn't really try anything but if you are still curious, I would run a few spyware and virus detections as well as end as many processes as you can just to make sure. And obviously don't be downloading anything, plus, school networks often times make you be constantly be downloading updates, disable windows updater and any other automatic school updates.

Yeah i got the idea, my computer is cleaned, i monitored them quite often, but the ping issue only seems to be a biggie on this game. I am saying the game is playable, but its kinda weird to see the ping on the server browser is tad lower than in game. All the server that i usually join usually have ping lower than 150 ms, but ingame the ping jumps 2 or 3 times as high.
