Default Editing KF static meshes

How would I go about taking the siren model from the kfenginetest pacakge and put it in a sitting position. I tried exporting as stl into 3ds max but it loses all of it's texture. And I don't have time to go about re mapping the whole model. Is there another way of achieving this?

Export it as .OBJ. You will have to export the texture separately. UV coordinates will not be lost with OBJ so once you reapply the texture it should look normal. Verticies will unweld themselves but that's an easy fix with the vertex weld tool.

When I tried exporting as obj and imported it into 3ds max, the model turned into a big triangle. (1 polygon). Is there a setting to make it work?
