Default Other monsters in Poundamonium?!

Ok, so I was playing with FleshPounds only, and on round 5 and round 7, other monsters appear! Is this supposed to happen?

Also with clots only, fleshpounds, crawlers, and sirens appear randomly!

Is this a bug?

Not a bug. It's to keep it 'Random' and at least a little challenging. Beating a Suicidal, Long Game on all stages wouldn't be all that hard if nothing but clots appeared, eh?

But when you pick a mutator that spawns only Clots or Flesh Pounds then you kind of expect only these to appear, otherwise they may as well just be renamed to 'mostly Clots' or 'mostly Flesh Pounds'. No idea if this is intended functionality or not though.

There are "normal" specimen in a wave, that mutators change, and "special" specimen in a wave, that mutators don't change. I believe this was to PREVENT you from being able to go through with, as mentioned, all clots, among other things.

Each game length has different special specimen defined for different waves. I don't think it changes them based on difficulty, though.

Yeah, it's a bit different in that way. A certain number of the monsters are "normal" and will be replaced, but a certain number are "Special" and won't be. As far as I can tell, yes, it was intended. It IS annoying, however, to have to put up with Stalkers and Crawlers in a Fleshpounds-Only game...
