Thumbs down New Critical Error

When I try to launch RO this error comes up. I have tried everything from updating, deleting local content and then updating, deleting user.ini and clientregistry.blob and Redorchestra.ini, uninstalling steam all together then reinstalling, uninstalling Norton Antivirus, updated video card drivers. The error will not go away and just closes out the game from launching.

This is apparently an error with the desktop command line. It seems an "ok" has crept into it somehow. Suggested that you check your "Set Launch" options - in Steam games - right-click RO, "Properties" ---> "Set Launch Options" and make sure the box is EMPTY!

If you use a desktop shortcut, make sure there are no extra parameters in there - shuold be something like:

"c:\program files\steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 1200 127.0.0.1:7757

wouldn't it be beter if it would be this:

c:\program files\steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 1200 ROintro.rom

Because when you look at his log:
Quote:
Log: Browse: ok?Name=ROPlayer?Class=Engine.Pawn?Character=G_Hee r1?team=1?Sex=M
I get at that location:

Quote:
Log: Browse: ROintro.rom?Name={Core}Zetsuphant?Class=Engine.Paw n?Character=R_VehCrew5?team=1?Sex=M
It can't load Ok because it isn't there, but it should be able to load Rointro.rom and startup normally.

Or am i totally wrong here?
