???
The specs at Samsung say it accepts Analog RGB and DVI
and the following connector: 15pin D-sub, DVI-D

It doesn't say anything about an hdmi connector.
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/d...XAA&fullspec=F

But then I'm not up on the hdmi stuff anyway.

I have that monitor and there's no HDMI in. But there's an HDMI to DVI converter included, so you can use it.

Hdmi is thesame as DVI but with sound all together in 1 connection. Meaning if you connect it to your computer then just use the dvi port because the quality is the same. And same quality dvi cables are often cheaper than hdmi cables.

If you want to connect a bluray/hddvd-player, 360 or a ps3 then just use a default hdmi cable. and put that in the connector i guess.
