Default Next patch news?????

Any news about a new patch for this game? Been a long time with no word on bug fixes or new stuff. There are still problems and some things that need to be worked out. I hope TWI is not done with this game yet!

Could we get an offical response from the devs?

That would rock but I wonder why they have not said anything about a patch for so long I hope they did not give up yet. We still have so much more missing from this game!

The problem is that we have been given so much so often, we can't help but want more. Its natural for us to expect more and more every time a new patch comes out...

A new patch would be indeed nice but not necessary,at least for me
We've got awesome mods coming up so i rather see TWI working on their new project so then they can give us some sweet news about it at the E3 '07

Ok guys. Here is a bit of news. Not much but I hope it answers some questions.

1) Yes there is a patch in the works for RO:O, and no it is not the last patch. Like always it will include some content along with bug fixes and other things as we see fit. I don't have a good time table on this patch but testing in underway on parts of it.

2) The reason you haven't seen "too" much out of us recently is due to a combination of both business/work reasons and a string of holidays that piled up right in a row that left key members of the team busy and tied up doing other things (or visiting family).

3) Yes, we have "started" work on our UE 3 title, which has not yet been named and won't be for some time. Expect more information on this closer to GDC. We have said in the past we will likely announce it there.

All I want from the next patch is an sdkfz 222 and a Mauser C96, which is enough for me to restore my interest back in RO:O.

My head must be in the sand! Where have you guys been hearing about a game 2? Is there anywhere I can go to look at it for myself? Or are all you guys just speculating on a game 2? I'd love to hear news from ANYONE about all this stuff. I'm definitly excited just getting the slightest hint about a new game. Anyway, If any of you guys are on the tank maps chances are I'll be there! Look for me if you want to team up in a tank!

Good Hunting

somewhere in this thread, putz (i think) said that the k98 with no sight hoods. (which i assume is the metal ring at the end of the rifle) will be included in future update. My question is, will this k98 & the current one both be available to select in the role selection screen? This may seem pointless, but in reality 2 of exact same k98's were very rarely seen in a frontline unit, except in a division etc of fresh troops & gives people choice since there is a mixed opinion on the issue. Also, takeconsideration for the colour & grain of the wood, since germany's resources came from a variety of places after 1941 because of all the occupied terratory, differences in wood colour would be more occurant than in allied weapons.

Just thought i'd point this out since RO is focussed around realism.
