I have never been real good with lighting. Now I have an issue I just can't make heads nor tails of..
![]() As you can see, I have a really bright lit area.. But I cannot locate ANY light that is doing it. There are no light sources in the immediate vicinity. ![]() The marked area is the area in question. The ONLY possibility I can see is the fire emitters at the top of the marked area. But I don't think they are putting out that much light, nor would it be on that particular wall. Anyone have a clue?? |

Yep, many times... Well, I have done a FULL REBUILD.. I haven't specifically done a REBUILD LIGHTING... Last edited by SODsniper; 09-06-2006 at 10:41 AM. |

Nope.. No sunlight actor in the map yet..
It's driving me to drink!! Well, actually more of a short walk...

First of all fire-emitters will never shed any light on a map, thats is done by a seperately placed light. Secondly I think you might be experiencing a HOM/Goblin whatever you want to call it. I've heard (and personally experienced multiple) of goblins that cast huge unexplainable shadows on maps, maybe this is a version of it too. If I look that the screens you showed, you might have some really complex BSP.
