That is not an RO package. Make sure all your redorchestra start links including the redorchestra.exe have no extra information in the target window.

Sorry to dredge this up but i have an identical error with completely clear launch options and the same error if i start from a desktop shortcut or from steam.

Build RedOrchestra_Build_[2005-11-27_10.48]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2802 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video: ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series (6719)

Failed to enter Entry: Can't find file for package 'Inf_Weapons_Foley'

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

currently reinstalling game files to see if that helps. Any ideas?

Same thing as above but a bit more detailed ^^

Error: "Can't find file 'xyz'"

Fix: Check your launch options in Steam - right-click on RO in Steam ---> "Properties" ---> "Set launch options" and ensure the box is EMPTY - no text at all.

If you're lazy make the startup command in the desktop shortcut

Code:
"c:\program files\steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 1200 rointro.rom
or it was

Code:
"c:\program files\steam\steam.exe" -applaunch 1200 -rointro.rom
