expanded buddies or switch to steam friends

i would like to be able to message a buddy ...i have a friend who plays on here but we hve no way of communicating through the software, if you guys would consider making it easier to contact our RO friends inside the game it would be greatly appreciated..

After the "fix" located in these forums (until the xfire devs fix the issue), you can communicate ingame with each other using xfire's chat features.

Xfire is the best way. And it works for more than RO.

A further integration into the Steam framework is something the devs would like to do at some point if they have the time. However, there are more important things at the moment like, the game itself .
