Default quick question regards cpu and ro

I`m getting a new conroe and i`m wondering will i have any problems trying to run RO with it? i thought RO might not support it or something becuase the guy at the shop told me that games need a patch to run on dual cores. is this true or do i have no problems to worry about?

LOL LOL

You will be completely fine. ROO will just run on one of the cores, but since the UT2.5 engine is CPU limited you will have framerates through the ROOF.

i didnt understand the cpu limited thing, how does it lead to higher FPS. also how can i have higher FPS if RO is only running on one of the cores? conroe has two after all

One conroe core will beat just about any other CPU out there. And since the main thing that limits FPS is the CPU, you will be golden.

Basically, dont worry about it, you'll be just fine.
