Default Generally suggestions

I have some suggestion in generally for RO. I have not read all the posts, so it mite be a double post; if so, sorry. And in front; sorry for my not so good English

1. On the map a place starts blinking if some of the forces are capturing it. That’s fine on small maps, but not on a big map as Orel. Why; because you can save a spot for artillery, and as soon as the place starts blinking again when the enemy tries to re-capture it you can call in the artillery even tough you are fare away from the place and have no friendly troops there watching it. Not realistic at all. Solution; remove the blinking, and just lat the flag change when the capturing are finished. Imagen me in a clown car far away frome a spot, then I can destroy two tigers I have never seen…

2. Instead of blinking symbol and map changing symbol when a placed gets captured, it would bee much better if a flag in-game was placed(a German flag was raised when the German took it, an Russian when… ). And first when an allied soldier saw the flag in the game the map changed. This could bee fun when the massage “nearly lost” suddenly pops out!

3. The tanks should acct the same on all maps. After playing a lot in orel it is clear that the tanks can handle much less in other maps, like Ro-Arads. Realism is the key for this game, and it is strange when the tanks suddenly blows away easier on different maps. We discussed this while playing on Arads, and I was not alone in my thoughts here.

4. Some servers turns of the kill list(kill deathmessages). I like this, much more realistic, but not when it is so easy to cheat. Cus you can just press F1 on get the score list; example: you have 10 score points and are laying down with the rifle aiming for an enemy far away. You shot one shot and wonder if it was an hit, only if it is a hit you will move(if he is alive he will get you if you move). But the deathmessages are turned of, just as in real life. But just press F1, if the score is higher now you got him (like 11 points for your name). Solution is to only show the score list at the end of the game(or not at all).

5. I have played much both as german and Russian at Orel map. The clown car is a rely big advantage for the Russian team. They can go underwater(bug), they can drive down the highest mountains and not get hurt(ridicules/bug). The bug needs to get fixed (but I guess this is only on this map). But the German team should have the bazooka, to get it more balanced.

6. Teamkillers(TK) is often a big problem. I have been on maps where 32 players had to find other server cus TK, and that is not good. We all know how fxxx irritating it is when one solider has -80 in his score list cus he is laying in spawn with an mg and shooting is team mates… I guess it is different control on every server, but one solution could help a bit – stop the in-live waiting time. Maps that uses car/tanks should only let the solider back on at the same time as the cars arrive.

7. Bug; press W key and num 3 key and the soldier will only look down. You have to disconnect and go back to fix it.

And btw; this is the best game I have ever tried! I also bought DayofDefeat – and that’s is now uninstalled for ever after I tried RO!
