XBOX One Bluetooth Not working

Hey all, first post here...

Just installed Maneater and am having an Issue with the XBOX One controller on PC (Connected thru Bluetooth or Wired = same issue)
-Controller works fine with multiple other games.
-PC Shows controller connected and working
-All buttons and control surfaces are recognized in Windows USB Game Controllers panel
-When I launch the game, it recognized the controller
-When I go into settings to adjust the graphics, it will only recognize the Y button after adjusting the settings. I cannot back out to main menu. It also freezes the keyboard so I have to CTRL+ALD+DEL to Task Manager to get out of the game.

-Purchased from Epic games.
-Am reinstalling now.

ANY THOUGHTS??? Help!!! Game looks sick but don't wanna play it with the KEyboards

Cant even use escape on keyboard to get out of the menu... wth is up with this game?

I found that clicking an option (with mouse) like audio thwn hitting esc works. If you made changes that would need saving it will prompt you. But yea tge UI is buged. In the menus.
