Tactics Workaround for Pulv Heavy Attack

Buy pulv and some ammo.

Burn through one mag ASAP.

Don't reload. Use the heavy attack until a FP shows up.

Reload, kill the FP, then waste the one or two rounds you have left.

Proceed to use the heavy attack again until another FP shows up.

You won't run out ammo. 20 rounds is enough. Just remember to ignore the impulse to reload when you see that 0/5 and you'll be fine.



Have fun. Hopefully they implement an actual mechanic for us in the future so we don't have to do this.

suggested a while back to tap RMB for bludgeon attack, and hold RMB for explosive.

20 ammo still doesn't seem like all that much. Honestly, it feels as if the change from 35 to 20 is an attempt to make the Pulv a sidegrade to the Zweihander, except you're now forced to carry a second melee weapon.

On the bright side, at least the Katana's a Tier 2.

Why ? I am probably missing something here since the normal attack works pretty good for almost every zed even scrakes...
You do your way and you and your team will die the first fp or siren groups that shows up because you will probably have no time to reload.
