Will the rains never stop?

This is getting ridiculous. It is Sunday morning and it hasn't stopped effing raining all week. We were supposed to be having a pool party for our daughter's birthday yesterday - fat chance. I think we had the full month's rainfall in the first couple of days we were away at GDC Austin. And it is still raining. And it is still forecast to rain just about EVERY day for the rest of the month.

How do we make it stop?!

I spent my first summer holiday in the UK for more than 20 years this year.

It rained for about 3 hrs on a Wednesday afternoon, I was expecting more, I was very dissapointed...

We get about 12 inches of rain per year here in Arizona I'd be glad to take all the rain from you guys.

Logic fail, the hotter it gets the more rain you have.

More heat = more evaporation from seas/lakes = more rain. The only reason you get deserts is because there is no water around due to a massive land mass. So in cold deserts its locked up as ice/snow.
