Where Are The Weapon Models Located and How Do I Edit Them?

Would opening them up in Blender work? I want to try something.

I assume they are in unreal packages, like all visual assets. I don't recall what formats you can import, but expect them to require geometry, textures, animations, sockets, particles, sound effects and so on.

It's not something I'm taking too seriously at the moment, I've just been considered modding.
