i have the same problem - i can't get my motd image to display ingame. i'm using webadmin exclusively, so maybe that's my problem? i've tried a wide variety of image sizes, including the default 512x256, a higher-resolution version of that with the same ratio (2048x1024), and a different ratio entirely (1920x1080), all with a variety of image hosters, none of which are using https.
