is there any way to get these buggers to NOT magnetize to these structures they built in order to tear them down? Something like a more expensive permanent wall or something that is not hardened ground..

ok so I seemed to be doing ok on normal discovered a bug though. if a dwarf is mining and you assign another dwarf to move to him, the dwarf that is mining will never finish mining that block ( cheapest way to wall off lava? ).
Also my game kept on having random water spawns, as in a completely mined area would magically turn to water, which just killed me @ .5 Mil points...

Watch our for shamans. IF you don't deal with them they will enter rage mode and spawn water.
