I wish there were a way to convert gifts into 7 lumps of coal instead of the other way around, because I'd rather have more entries for the giveaway prize than coupons I'm never going to use. Hell, this GTA IV coupon is going to expire in March and there's no way I'm buying that game for more than $10.

I can't believe this. I have 5 coal, %20 off valve, %50 off Audiosurf, %25 off Arkam City after a bunch of achievements.

I just sent Plants vs Zombies to my wife, her first steam game (plus a Humble Bundle). Se just won just for ONLY ONE achievement (the "look at your inventory" one: Disciples II, 1 coal and %50 off valve.

This. The coupon thing is a nice slice of fail, especially since everything is already on sale for way more than the coupon and none of the developers are saying 'We've got a new game coming out February 1rst!'

Is it only me, but I think Steam Summer Sale was way better. There IIRC you could chose price (DLC) for yourself after you unlocked 3 achievements from list. Here you can get coal, useless coupon or if you are extremely lucky game that you won't play anyway.

I am not finding much interesting this Steam sale. The few games I would consider buying at the low prices I already own.

It is not on Steam, but Amazon has Deus Ex Human Revolution + the Tactical Enhancement Pack for $10. But your code works on Steam. I bought it, added it to Steam, and got the DLC. It is my understanding you only get the DLC when you register the game on Steam.

Thanks for the heads-up, I've been wanting Human Revolution for a while but I'm spending too much on these sales as it is. I know it can't live up to the original Deus Ex, but hopefully it won't be as facepalm-inducing as Invisible War was.

Btw, on today's deals, "OPF" Dragon Rising has 80% discount. I won't buy that crap even if it costs only $3
