Support could be more powerful?

The LAW has definitely received some form of beef up since Level Up went live. Definitely.
Yeah it has. That hasn't exactly made it a viable option as a weapon though, it just isn't utterly worthless anymore.
I think it's around twice as strong as the grenade launchers and does frag-type damage which means 2x damage against FPs.

Support works nicely as one of, if not, the most interesting perks of all. Increased carryweight, more grenades and faster welding make for a *fun* perk.

Add the three different and very powerful shotguns and you have yourself a pretty darn nice perk. Borderline OP.

I think the my favourite part is the carry weight, bringing an AA12 as well as any other weapon(Hello xbow) for leveling another perk is <3

Thread related question:
Do penetration shots always stop on second impact?
I'd like to think that for a line of Zed's I could use the standard shotgun, while for a wide spread the hunting shotgun would be prefferable, but it always seems to stop short.

LAW got double damage or something like that. it does 680 damage per shot.

You get damage bonus to LAW with Support (im not sure), but damage are count to explosives. (I got a level to demo yesterday by using LAW on support)
I tried LAW after that with demo and guess what? I accidently fired too close to ZED and got banged to face on full armor and health. I survived, but I had only 18 hp left. At the same range, the support specialist would die. (I've done that many times) And that is because:
a) Support specialist got damage buffered.
b) Demolitions got damage reducion on explosives.

Hard to say wich one it is, without looking the script

Yeah...I learned that about the LAW's power and explosive size boost the hard way...

First time I used it, it was late in a game in Offices, and we were on the first floor in the hall with the back door welded shut. I used the LAW on a group of specimens at a range I was used to with the weapon...and I died.

Ok...learned lesson...won't do it again...but the story doesn't end there.

I don't have a mic, so I couldn't type my warning fast enough... One person goes, "Oh cool! A LAW!" over the mic and promptly blows himself up. Then..."Hey, somebody dropped a LAW!" and promptly blows himself up.

I finally press my enter key with the message: "DON'T USE MY LAW! THE THING HAS HAD AN UPGRADE IN DAMAGE AND EXPLOSION SIZE!"

Needless to say, my warning came a bit late, and the rest of the team was duly slaughtered.

xDDDDD

That sounds like a scene from The Simpsons or Family guy....

Stewie: Heeeey! A Rocket Launcher!
Brian: Noooooo...

It seems today, that all you see, is violence in movies...

:p

Curious to use the LAW more often :D
