Sometimes, I really regret purchasing Killing Floor 2

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but holy ****e aren't the dc issues annoying. I don't think I have played a non-solo game these last two weeks.

Seeing as the threads in other sections get buried and/or ignored, am I alone in this? Or is anyone else actually having dc issues? Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot the cause?

What irks me is that this only happens in KF2. All my other games work just fine

Sometimes a server closes down on me which I know because all my friends get disconnected too. However, that happened like 5 times in 90 hours and I don't think the game is even to blame for that but the servers themselves.

I'm not having disconnect issues, it's been server stress tested on the beta phase. Any server disconnects/crashes are at the servers fault. If you keep disconnecting on every server then do something with your internet connection or move to the civilization.

Well, you are not alone here regretting sometimes the purchase of Killing Floor 2. To keep a fact in mind, it's currently in early access. They gave us what we asked for. Now... Anything can change within months and on full release, it may be worth the price.

I'm only afraid of the future changes, which (may occur) make's the game either unplayable or unenjoyable. As (un)informed as tripwire let us to be we can assume nothing for sure yet. Update v9001 - Addet Insult Players on overwhelmingly requests, now with more british accents and slangs. Go and have fun ya mon*grls.

I have never had any disconnecton problems except on first few hours on 21st when my server crashed 3 times, and everything was acting weird.

I had some lag issues but no disconnects. I'm in Central Europe.

Italy. I have never had a single (like, at all) disconnect issue during the pre-21st stress test, and now here I am unable to play a full match

Really, I'm liking the game itself, and the direction it's taking seems to be valid, but not being able to play with other meat sacks (Hans quote) the likes of me really kills most of it.
You can only solo maps so many times.

Just a quick post to say I have never experienced this glitch. Closest thing was that one day when the server directory failed, and that was fixed same day. Hope y'all get a solution.

I'd say is either your internet connection (which the ISP is the one to blame here) OR server where you play are just terrible.

Can't be a specific server, as I matchmake and user the server browser in order to find a server to play on (thus never joining the same server twice)

In my 56 hours of KF2 I have only experienced it once, and as I rejoined the server and then shortly after was disconnected from it again, it was clearly that particular server which was the problem in my case.

Also, using matchmaking is a miss/miss experience for the most part. Why let a machine pick for you when you can choose yourself?

Since it's a problem specific to you apparently, there might be hope of solving it yet. Did you try to Verify the game cache?

OP whats your location, your internet conn. type and the where are the servers you are conn. to?

probably had less than 1/2 dozen dc issues in 70 hrs. But mostly play on relatively low ping servers in the same country or at least continent... and EU has good infrastructure.

It sounds like domain name service or port forwarding issues.

Attempt to play directly connected to your modem - no router. If it works, it's your router's settings and we can go from there.
