Some sort of single player? Maybe not a full campaign but maybe missions?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H07zYvkNYL8

for the love of god,Tripwire please don't waste your time, money, resources, on a 4-5 hour story/mission singleplayer, make this game MULTIPLAYER ONLY!!!:)
Yeah, really not worth it unless they'd be willing to do something NEW and actually tell the story from the NVA/Vietcong perspective (lol Amers would rather shoot themselves then do something like that). But even then considering that I could not force myself to finish the pathetic and buggy SP campaign from RO2 I am 100% sure I wouldn't even install the SP part of the game.
Making MP experience is the obvious choice for them and CAN provide them great success and most likely will since they're great developers and Red Orchestra 2 was/is a great game.

We already have seen that TWI does not have the ressources to pull off a full sized campaign. RO2 Singleplayer was - sad but true - wasted ressources desperately needed for important things.

If there were more people working at TWI, let's say they were the size of Treyarch, then they definitely would do good to do a campaign. No CoD run and gun, maybe something like Brothers in Arms, which was on high difficulties a real challenge, especially the enemy AI was formidable.

Call of Duty Black Ops had a few tunnel levels which were intense. If mappers are capable of bringing merciless tunnel fighting into the maps, that would be indeed worth something.
