On several guns there is an inspect animation where you can see the entire round that is currently chambered. This should eject the round. especially for the pistols where you pull the slide all the way back.

I think at some point they forgot that these were supposed to be "brass check" animations, and just started putting in "pull charging handle" animations.
It's especially goofy with the P90. You can see that the charging handle can't be pulled any further back, there's stuff in the way, and there was no point in pulling it at all for a brass check anyways, since it isn't being held at an angle where you can look into the ejection port on the bottom to see if there's a chambered round.
