no sorry you got it wrong, ps3 is for players that like having all there credit card information stolen and sold to other countries and also love playing games without teamwork because the mic's hardly ever work in certain games.
Besides those flaws the internet connection quality is very poor for certain games, so yes paying for an extra what $50 to buy a ps3 over the 360 and getting a crap free online experience is your thing then by all means.
If anything more kids play on ps3 because its free and parents don't have to pay money.
I have both my ps3 is my blue ray player, my 360 is for games that are only on consoles and my pc is for shooters
