Tactics Seienchins ultimate guide to booby traps

After making a long pause from guide making I got recently annoyed at the abundance of booby traps. I havent been killed by one in month.
Since i get at least one succesful booby trap each game (And its rarely just a single kill ) I thought to myself: What would happen if every japanese soldier (Except mgs and snipers) would have at least one succesful booby trap!

It would be like the old days when RS was young and the allies cryed over the annoying booby traps. I want that back!

Nice quide man. We definitely need more booBy traps and I'm allways telling people to plant boody traps when I'm playing RS.

Good effort. I would only say that one of the most important parts of placing mines is the concealment - I disarm so many mines out in the open sunlight that I can't help but do it differently when I place them.


The ideal spot is a chokepoint or enemy-cover-area in shadows or in bushes/grass.


The bottom of exit steps is a great spot. Ten feet straight out from an exit but inside a bush is also great. Honestly even out in the open if you can place it in a single shaft of shadow it makes a great deal of difference in how likely it is to be detected. And even the small grass tufts (which disappear at range) are good concealment spots for mines.


Firstly, make sure you use your mines. But almost as important is to make sure to conceal your mines. A shadow or darker spot of dirt is all you need.
