Problem with member renewals and editing

Hi guys,

Starting to get a bunch of people that are on the anniversary of their 12 month member accounts. So what happens if I try to add a member with a new 12 month term but they are already set as a member it wont change the account and it wont let me know that the member already exists. If it can let me know the member exists that would help because then I just need to edit that member. Otherwise I just assume the change was made, but it in fact was ignored.

So in summary. Try to add person that is already a member 1) doesnt update end date 2) Doesnt give warning that it didnt work.

Just so I'm clear - when you attempt to add a duplicate, it prevents it but doesn't have any messaging to that effect, correct?

Yes that is correct. All it need say is "user already exists" and that will alert me to update the member. Also have a funny situation where I can open the update popup on two of my servers three servers. One just ignores me.
