Server Non-https image hosting for welcome screen?

Hi,

I recently got my own dedicated server, and was wondering where/how people host their welcome screen images. After some research I found that the image link needs to be http and not https (as well as PNG + >8bit) or it won't show. However I can't find any reliable image hosting site that doesn't use https. Is it possible to turn off https for a certain site? If not, then if someone could advise me or point me to a guide on how to host your own images that would be great. Thanks!

You could put it into KFGame/Web/images and then just link it using a relative path: /images/server_motd.png

Don't have a server anymore but I think I used to have my banner on imgur and https was just fine, but could be mistaken.
