PC ManEater "Epic" crash!

Hi!

I am really disappointed. I was so excited to be able to wildly attack these crowded beaches,
explore the depths and fill my shark's stomach with all these sea creatures. BUT NO !

It is just impossible to launch the game. I could not even test the game

I have got a big Unreal Engine Crast Reporter window that pops out at the launch of the game.

I try to check my GC driver : It s up to date!
I launch a file check in the Epic Launcher : Nothing change.
I reboot my computer : the UE Crash reporter still appear.
I uninstall/reinstall the game : crash again!

What can be done to fix this?

Im having a similar issue. I got to play a couple days but now everytime i launch the game it either doesnt respond or it just sits on a black screen.......

I got the same problem. Everything up to date. Tried the same things.

Started getting the black screen issue myself yesterday. Had 8 hours of play time before this happened and now I have 4 hours of black screen time from my trying to fix it or wait it out.

In the crash report, it seems that the error occures when the 'Maneater-Win64-Shipping' is called.
But there is not a specific error message returned

I still can't figured out what is the cause of this issue.

I'm having the same problem. i bought the game and have not been able to get past the 2 seconds of black screen before the crash report pops up
