I have seen the same when throwing C4 on Patriarch in a 6 men game, the C4 was attached to the 'fairy green puff smoke' wandering around. Even weirder.
Pretty sure the bug I'm talking about is related, I tried to capture a video of it with the floating C4 far away from the boss (and moving randomly like the flames on your video) but my screen capture software had bad settings and it recorded a slideshow from which I saved these screenshots:
When the boss was moving/running, the C4 were moving around (and blinking like normal). So far I have seen that on Patriarch and King Bloat, and online only I couldn't reproduce it offline, maybe it need me to throw C4 at specific time, maybe when some FX are appearing too (maybe the C4 attaches to the misplaced FX I would guess).
Since more details we can provide, the better With graphical issues it's helpful to also get a screenshot of video settings. Any I can pass on to QA to help with reproducing this issue the same way you two are seeing this, is great. Thanks!
Still happens in beta 1.
I just tested it in both presets Ultra and Low and i wasn't being able to see flame effects properly attached to ZEDs. Pretty sure it is independent from the settings. Also i'm sure i'm not the only one having this.
This happens with all effects, this includes medic healing and toxic effects. It seems that either the socket the emitter is linking to is broken or it's getting a relative position set that is incorrect
